D-MAX RETAINS BEST PICK-UP TRUCK TITLE

The new Isuzu D-MAX has retained the coveted NST-Maybank Car Of The Year title in the Pick-up Truck category for the second consecutive year, this time, the award goes to the new Isuzu D-MAX V-Cross 3.0 model.

This feat comes on the heels of the Asian Auto Magazine’s Best Value For Money Pick-Up Truck title that the Isuzu D-MAX successfully retained two years running as well earlier.

“The level of investment that Isuzu placed into research and engineering of the new D-MAX was the highest ever in the history of the company and the results are clear to see. The Isuzu D-MAX remains the judges’ unanimous choice of pick-up truck despite newer models available today,” said COO Daisuke Ishida.

While its core strengths of durability, reliability and fuel efficiency offer highly practical long-term benefits and cost savings to owners, the Isuzu D-MAX loses nothing in terms of driving appeal with a strong balance of comfort, performance and handling listed among the D-MAX’s more appealing traits.

Mr. Yasuhiko Oyama, General Manager of Isuzu Malaysia received the award on behalf of the company from Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Mohammad Azlan Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer of The New Straits Times Press (M) Berhad during the recent awards ceremony.
