V-CROSS AND SAFARI GET THUMBS UP

Isuzu dealers and media have given their thumbs-up to the all new Isuzu D-MAX V-Cross and Safari models after their test drive of the new range-topping pick-up trucks.

Powered by the new 3-litre engine with a Variable Geometry System (VGS) turbo system to unleash 177PS and 380Nm of torque, the new D-MAX V-Cross was summed up by a single word “impressive” by both the sales team and critics alike.

What was most compelling was the sheer effortless performance be in on a climb to Genting Highlands or on the highway up to Penang. Many were further impressed by the fuel economy of the new 3-litre engine that was hardly pushed on its journey, returning admirable fuel consumption figures despite being driven for long periods above the regular speed limits.

“I have never experienced a pick-up truck as easy to drive, confident and robust as this yet provides saloon car-like comfort. I can be swayed to switch to a pick-up truck after this,” said one seasoned motoring journalist.

The new D-MAX V-Cross and Safari go on sale at all Isuzu showrooms immediately.
